Rakuten Branding Identity
Rakuten has revamped its global unified logo. This has greatly improved the efficiency of logo exposure and recognition in sponsorships. The Chinese character "Ichi" (one) in all the logos represent the company's evolution towards the next stage, as well as the four meanings of "Beginning” , "Unite," "Top, or First" , and "Unique”. Each color represents the individuality of Rakuten's services and the diversity of the company. With this new unified logo, the global recognition rate of the Rakuten brand, which was close to zero, has increased to approximately 70%.
